Queer and transgender people, as well as the issues we face, are increasingly showing up in mainstream media. But, for many people who are not part of the LGBTQIA+ community (and some who are), the terminology can be a bit confusing. We need resources that make that language available to people and that educate the reader without alienation or condescension. That's where I come in.
I've written Gender and Sexuality explainers as well as Trans/Non-binary 101 articles for a number of different websites including Healthline.com, ThoughtCo, ParentMap, and trans.cafe. It's important that transgender people are the ones doing this work, and as a non-binary trans person with a demonstrated history of creating accessible, informative content and a Master of Arts in Gender Politics from New York University, I'm the right person for the job.
If you're looking to develop an article, curriculum, or a presentation on gender and/or sexuality, please don't hesitate to be in touch.
